Amy Brouillette is the Director of Advocacy at IPI, responsible for leading the organisation’s global advocacy strategies, responses, and campaigns. She has more than a decade of experience advocating for freedom of the press and independent journalism, including leading direct engagements with governments and multilateral organizations. She currently serves as a co-chair of the Media Freedom Coalition-Consultative Network, a group of civil society organizations that advise the MFC on cases of concern regarding media freedom and the safety of journalists. She has a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a master’s degree in history from Central European University in Budapest.
