Lucas Tonks is a Berlin-based freelance investigative reporter. His work focuses on Russian economic and political influence in Europe and has appeared in The Kyiv Independent. He is currently investigating sanction-evasion networks supplying Russia’s defence industry, alongside projects concerning mechanisms of Russian control over occupied territories and the protection and laundering of wealth through luxury real estate.
