Manon Verchot is the Innovation Projects Manager at the International Press Institute. She manages IPI’s Europe-based innovation activities, including the Transition Accelerator and Media Innovation Festival. Manon has over 10 years of experience working on editorial and product in newsrooms across the globe.
Before joining IPI, she ran video and multimedia operations at national and international newsrooms such as Hindustan Times and Mongabay. She has also trained journalists and newsrooms from over 15 countries in developing digital skills and sustainable products by leverage emerging tech.
She received a grant from Columbia University and a fellowship from the City University of New York to support her work on building a platform to support diversity in journalism.
