Oleg Khomenok is a Senior Program Manager at Internews Network and a veteran of investigative journalism with over 30 years of experience training and managing reporting projects across Eastern Europe and Eurasia. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN) and chairs the Regional Press Development Institute (RPDI) in Ukraine. Oleg has spent decades connecting reporters across borders. He co-managed the cross-border SCOOP project for 15 years, helped launch the n-vestigate network, and has been a driving force behind the annual Ukrainian Investigative Journalism Conference for nearly two decades. On the ground, he coordinated the award-winning YanukovychLeaks.org team, helping rescue and digitize thousands of corrupt financial records from Ukraine’s former president. Khomenok has written several journalism textbooks and regularly judges top-tier industry competitions like the European Press Prize and the Global Shining Light Award.
