UNCOVERED Conference History

Hosted by the Goethe Institut Budapest, UNCOVERED 2026 was a showcase of watchdog reporting.

Back in Athens, UNCOVERED proved once more that cross-border journalism thrives in community, not in isolation.

Athens, with iMEdD IJF, hosted nearly 1,000 attendees and the most competitive Impact Award yet.

Brussels hosted 150 guests at Europe’s heart, where ideas meet policy and cross-border stories take shape.

Berlin welcomed us in person, just steps from the Brandenburg Gate, reconnecting colleagues face to face.

UNCOVERED kicked off virtually, connecting journalists to share investigations and spark new collaborations.
